Wood Preservative
Why Timber Treatment?
Industrially applied timber treatments can significantly enhance the natural durability of wood; increasing its resistance to decay, pests, and the wear and tear of time. To ensure our treated timber delivers on quality and durability we operate our own treatment operation, and we only treat with Tanalith® E wood preservative.

Tanalith® E Wood Preservative
Tanalith® E is a wood preservative manufactured and supplied by Arxada. We choose to treat with Tanalith® E because of it’s tried, tested and trusted performance over the last 30 years and its compliance with stringent industry standards.
A unique combination of copper and organic biocides, Tanalith® E is a water-based, high-pressure wood preservative. When impregnated into the timber though a high-pressure process Tanalith® E components bond with the wood structure and cannot easily be removed, helping to significantly extend its service life.
The short animation below shows the high-pressure treatment process with Tanalith® E.
The Original Tanalised® Timber
Because of the popularity of Tanalith® E over the years, the term ‘tanalised timber’ has become synonymous with pressure treated timber. However, not all treated timber is treated to the same standard.
We are proud to supply genuine Tanalised® Timber though treating with Tanalith® E wood preservative. Suitable for Use Classes 1 to 4, it can be used in internal and external building applications and outdoors, both in ground contact and above the ground, without any need for further protection.
